So i realized it's been a while since I last wrote anything on this blog, but I've been busy alright? Can't I be busy? I AM the Captain of my ship after all, i got a lot of stuff to take care of, such as hiring new pirates and stuff like that.
Well anyway, so recently, I thought that my ship was getting a little boring... my sailors are complaining about the lack of entertainment on this ship, henceforth, I went on land one day and got myself a guitarrrrrr....! yes! that's right a guitar! Now I can play some music, and sing and whatever, and then I could hire a musician to play for my crew and they will stop bothering me about their boredom! Yes! I'm a genius!
But no, I really did buy a guitar. I bought a Metallic Red Cort M200... Yes an electric guitar. I've been trying to learn on it for the last 3 days... don't have MUCH advancement, but I guess I'm slightly better than day 1 already! can't say i'm decent at all, but whatever, I'll get there, eventually. But man, it hurts my fingers eh! I'm just afraid of getting thouse callouses. I hear that it's inevitable, and I like my fingers nice and soft... boohoo! I found some tabs online, and I've been trying to play Death Cab's 'Title and Registration'. I'm getting pretty good at the first little bit! So happy!
I don't have a picture of the guitar yet, but I'll post one up one day, when I do take a picture of the guitar, but for now, I'll just steal one off the internet. Here it is!:

Captain's Log: Day 48
The Captain should seriously NOT be blogging right now... but i just realized that so far this year, I've had one update per month, and that is just sad, in my opinion. So I decided, hey why not!? Captain is in a jolly good mood today!
Well check this: when I get bored, while sailing in the big blue ocean on a cloudy gloomy day, I take off my eye-patch (I don't actually need it, it's just for show, really... it makes me look a lot scarier) and I take out my needles, thread, sewing machine, knitting kit, yarn, and crochet hook, prop them all up, and start making stuff! This is what I've made recently. Impressed!? Yeah. I know. You are.

I'm sure you're awed by my incredibly awesome modeling skills too eh?
That's right folks! I've moved on from making scarves to making BAGS! Improvement I say!
Well anyway. That's about all I have to say for now. Sorry for boring your brains out of your minds... wait... that doesn't make sense really. Whatever, you get what I mean.
Well not exactly. Captain Ho is actually really tired. So tired, she ain't thinkan straight yar!

Captain's Log: Day 47
As u may have noticed. i changed the layout of this blog. I don't know, i thought i could do with some change eh? Yarr... of course!!
I don't have much to say, but here's 16 random facts about me. haha! yes, i copied this off of my facebook note, but whatever, i could post it here too... why not? it's interesting!
So the point of this is to write 16 random things about me:
#1: I love how this note is all about ME! ME ME ME ME ME! wow... what a self centered b*tch!
#2: I am a creepy stalker... or so I've been told, but I'm sure my stalker-ees secretly enjoy the attention *cough... Udhay*
#3: I believe true love exists only in fiction...
#4: I have a very short attention span... I normally can't keep up a conversation for too too long. But I've realized that there are normally 2 things that you can say if you zone out in a conversation, and your mind-absent-ness can still go unnoticed:
"That's cool..." and
"What do you mean?" (I especially like this one)
#5: If I were to be transformed into an animal, I would be... an owl. Because they're fluffy, and cute, but at the same time, very angry looking... and they have piercing eyes, and lopsided ears, and a head that can rotate 180 degrees. Oh, and they also have super cool night vision, and they hoot, and they're the mascot of Couche Tard... or whatever it is... oh and they can close one eye, and keep one eye watching you... like a stalker!
if not then a black panther... cuz they're sexy.
#6: I am terrified of pregnant women. Don't ask me why. I don't know why... it's ineffable
#7: I smile most of the time, but that doesn't necessarily mean I'm happy... it's more likely because I just remembered something funny that happened yesterday...or maybe, I'm just trying to make you think I'm happy... but really... I'm just plotting...hahaha! Plotting to take over the world! I mean, someone's going to have to fill up that filing cabinet in Stewart Bio that says "Plans to take over the world" what's the point of having a filing cabinet for "Plans to take over the world" when there aren't any plans in there??
#8: I am a very loud drunk... or so I've been told. But I wouldn't know, I was too drunk to remember... but that was long long... long ago.
#9: I have 5 children, their names are: Javier (such a hot name), Misuki, 皇甫少華, Dimitri, Adrian, and Satine. (In no particular order) I also have a seal named 酈明堂, and I also have this adorable little bald dancing green man/creature thing that runs on solar power, named Andy Lau, and he's always smiling... and dancing, as long as there's light. Such a happy little thing! It makes me happy just looking at it.
#10: I think I'm pretty friendly... apparently, sometimes a bit too friendly for my own good... hahaha! and I'm also pretty talkative, well that would depend who I'm talking to of course. But sometimes, I like to sit/lie in the dark, in silence. It's eery... but comforting at the same time.
#11: Sometimes I like to cry, for no reason. Or maybe for some reason... I don't know. There's normally no reasoning to anything I do... really. It's just random. Did I mention that yet? Oh, well if I hadn't, well I'll mention it now, I'm random! hahaha!
#12: I am a proud little old lady to enjoys knitting and crochet-ing. I'm not even joking... except for the 'little' part. I wouldn't exactly consider myself little.
#13: I dislike the colour pink. It's too girly for me... I think. (hmm that rhymes!) I prefer black, or well... any other colour but pink... except for maybe dark khaki, i don't really like that either.
#14: I am super simple minded. And a little too trusting at times... I'm like a... female simple cell contaminated by... what's that virus in cat feces again? Apparently there is this virus in cat feces that if you catch it, and if you're a female, then you become more trusting, and if you're a male, then you become more daring (?) well more risk-taking (or whatever). So, in short. This virus leads you to trouble. Bad virus. And I'm serious, I'm not even making this up.
#15: Sometimes I treat everything like a joke, because I don't want others to know what I'm really thinking... JOKES! hahahaha... wait... damn that doesn't work does it?
#16: If you have ever taken a look, no, even a peek, at my profile, I'm sure you've been waiting for this one since #1, so here it is... *drum roll please* #16: I AM AWESOME.

Captain's Log: Day 46
Tears... A Break Between Smiles
Awake I lie,
in darkness I hide,
not willing to show,
not wanting to fake
a smile.
A mask I wear,
so nobody shares
the pain I feel,
the thoughts I dread
in silence.
A sigh of ease,
alone in peace,
no need to smile
no need to act
for others.
And then they come,
freely and welcomed,
a break between lies,
a break between smiles;
tears.

Captain's Log: Day 45 - entry 2
Three Seconds - the poster!
hahahaha! yes, i was bored, so I made a 'poster' or 'cover' or whatever else you want to call it for it. It was pretty interesting how I made it, I drew a backdrop, then I drew the people, and then i scanned it, then photoshopped it... overlapping the people and the background, i coloured the thing on photoshop, and then to make it look like people are 'walking' i blurred them. which makes my task a lot easier, because i don't actually have to make the people look good, since they're going to a big blob anyway haha! so here it is!

Captain's Log: Day 43
Finally! I'm done exams and I have time to update my blog once again! :)
alrighty, well... i don't have much to say, i'm currently still writing the second mini story of my story, 'three seconds'... so that will be later, but i just felt like sharing a bit of my... lol! er... artsyness? so yeah, check this out ;)

so this one is done on photoshop, the background and whatever I painted it on photoshop myself! :) then the person... well you might recognize it as I've previously put it up on this blog... you know, when i put up pictures of all those drawings on my wall... well that's one of them! I like the sunset
the second one is a little manipulation... i guess you could call it that. So what happens when you put these to pictures together?:

What you get is.... THIS!:

You end up having TWINS! hahaha! oh... i make myself laugh.
This is also done on photoshop, darn... i love that program!
alright, well that's about it for today! :)

Captain's Log: Day 42
Love At First Sight
Wislawa Szymborska
They're both convinced
that a sudden passion joined them.
Such certainty is beautiful,
but uncertainty is more beautiful still.
Since they'd never met before, they're sure
that there'd be nothing between them.
But what's the word from the streets, staircases, hallways --
perhaps they've passed by each other a million times?
I want to ask them
if they don't remember --
a moment face to face
in some revolving door?
perhaps a "sorry" muttered in a crowd?
a curt "wrong number" caught in the receiver --
but I know the answer.
No, they don't remember.
They'd be amazed to hear
that Chance had been toying with them
now for years.
Not quite ready yet
to become their Destiny.
It pushed them close, drove them apart,
it barred their path,
stifling a laugh,
and then leaped aside.
There were signs and signals,
even if they couldn't read them yet.
Perhaps three years ago
or just last Tuesday
a certain leaf fluttered
from one shoulder to another?
Something was dropped and then picked up.
Who knows, maybe the ball that vanished
into childhood's thicket.
There were doorknobs and doorbells
where one touch had covered another
beforehand.
Suitcases checked and side by side.
One night, perhaps the same dream,
grown hazy by morning.
Every beginning
is only a sequel, after all,
and the book of events
is always open halfway through.

Captain's Log: Day 41
I recently looked up Pocahontas on Youtube, for no particular reason... and came across this song, Colors of the Wind... It's a really nice song... it really is.
It's a shame that Disney stopped making musical like movies, I liked them. And I personally liked the old Disney movies more than the new ones, there are several that are good, but most of them aren't really that great. Though I do have to admit that some of the older Disney movies aren't fantastic either. Bambi, i found was a bit on the boring side, BUT it was a very 'pretty' movie, if i could put it that way... but i did like it a lot when i was a kid. Of course, when i grew up and watched it again, expecting it to be as good as i remember it to be, i was very much disappointed... Oh well... people change, right? well anyway, i just thought I'd attach the clip here for your enjoyment... it really is a nice song.

Captain's Log: Day 38
Ok, i know, I start lots of stuff, and then it seems like i never go along with it. But no no, i just didn't have much time recently... but i'm back with my 'project'... Montreal, through my lens:
There was this big snowstorm a week ago, and i took pictures, but i never got a chance to upload them... so here they are, and along with those are some pictures i took at various places in the city:
Montreal Snowstorm:

1) where did my stairs disappear to!?
2) the tree... and the distant lights
3) my snow covered street
4) hmm.. is that snow or is that fog?
5) and that's only after 2 hours of snow!
Montreal, the city pictures:
Lionel-Groulx Metro Station:

Outside of Square-Victoria Metro Station: (notice the Parisian style entrance)

Champs-De-Mars (it was such a beautiful day! Look at the blue sky!):

McGill University (parts of it anyway, and check out that deadly icicle! compare it to the people!):

Captain's Log: Day 36
Kind of bored of studying thermodynamics... so while Dr. Barrett is explaining his question, I've decided to post up these pictures! Well... it's actually pictures of drawings hehe! Drawings that I've stuck on my wall... drawings that i've done, instead of doing something called studying...
btw, just in case you're wondering, there's one that says BIOL200... it's a course (Molecular Biology) I don't especially like that course, I just so happen to be studying for that midterm, and i was recopying my notes on recycle paper, and i got bored, so i started doodling on top of it, if you look closely enough you'll see that the in the background, there are lots of tiny words, explaining something about PCR or something like that!
